That being said, a fellow colleague of mine in the home base business industry by the name of Todd Falcone has shared phenomenal 12 points on the What Is Working Now webinar that is open to all that want to rub shoulders with a Master recruiter for more than 20 years and who would like to learn how to recruit professionals into their business.
Here are 12 Must Do Points
1. Must Decide
I am sure you have heard that a thousand times and maybe you have read it a couple times on my website as well, but it is critical that you decide once and for all that being involved in the home base business industry is what you want to do and going to do. The earning potential is certainly worth while with limitless earning potential.
2. You Must Listen
Listen to people that are successful and do what they do. You are going to need to humble yourself and listen to your mentors and your prospects. When you start to listen to your prospects, you will have great success. Listen to find out what it is, why your prospect is looking for additional income. Find out what it is that they do to make a living and if they are happy with what they do, if they would be interested to make additional income? Find out what problem they have and then provide the solution to their problem.
3. You Must Problem Solve
Focus on how you can solve their problem, you are a problem solver looking out for the best interest of your prospect. Don’t look at your prospect as to make money from them. They are people that need a leader to help them solve a problem.
4. You Must Be Consistent
Experience is important, you will get better at what you do and remember what works. It is more easy to remember when you do things everyday. You cannot build momentum if you for example spend 10 hours a week every three days on your business. Rather spend an hour or two everyday on your business. Keep in mind that exposure activity is most important. Everyday you need to expose your business to new quality people.
5. You Must Get Clear
You must get clear with regard to your action motivator. There are going to be times when you question yourself. I have been their too a long time ago. During these times you need to be clear on the reason why you are doing what you are doing. The rewards out weigh the adversities that come your way.
How do you overcome the adversities? Get better at what you do through keeping in touch with your mentor and acquiring more skill in personal development material as well as from personal experience from your daily activity.
I am not saying that money should be your biggest reason, you might have a passion for helping people like I do. Whatever your reason is, it should be strong enough to carry you through the adversity time in your developmental stage of building your business through helping people reach their aspirations.
Money does have a good use though, it creates choices. With out it, your life is limited to the life style that you lead, what level of education you can provide to your children, how much you can support a charity, where you live, what you drive, if you would be able to travel, what clothes you where etc.
Get to the core reason for why you are going to do what you do in the home base business industry. Not just to get out of debt.
6. You Must Apply The Golden Rule
Do unto others as you want others do unto you.
7. You Must Eliminate
You must eliminate any and all escapes and excuses. Don’t find excuses not to pick up your phone to speak to people. Excuses like, I cannot pick up the phone to call “Pete” now because I have to go shopping first or I have to first do this or that.
Get the phone in your hand and make that call. Change your mind set to…
If I want to go to do the shopping, I cannot leave my house before I have phoned “Pete”.
The shopping will take more money out of your pocket, picking up the phone will put more money in your pocket. Which one is more rewarding to do first?
You cannot go shopping with less money in your pocket but you can have more choices when you get to the shop with more money in your pocket. Plus you will be helping “Pete” with a solution so that he will also have more choices when he does the shopping thing after you teach him to pick up the phone too before going to the shop.
It would definitely help if you knew what to say on the phone to “Pete”, right?
It would further be even better if you could share with “Pete” what he should say to people on the phone once he made the decision as you have done to be part of the home base business industry to help people with solutions to their problems.

8. You Must Not Only Focus On Their Needs But On Your Personal Development
Always keep working on sharpening your skills to be more productive. I started to educate myself in utilizing the Internet to acquire a constant flow of leads to talk too but you also need to spend time doing the most productive activity of all and that is to talk too people as well as to develop your skills in what to say to people and how to plug them into a system.
9. You Must Follow Up
Don’t drop the ball, your lead expect you to follow up. You did the actions to get the lead, so follow through and follow up with them.
10. You Must Copy Others
Find somebody that is producing results and duplicate what they do. Do what do’ers do and and not what don’t ers do.
11. You Must Smile
You offer people options and a way to change their life. People like to connect with people that smile rather then with people with a frown on their face.
12. You Must Be Curious
Always learn, be curious of your mentor, what they do and be curious of your prospects.
