Why Network Marketing as a Career?

Hi there my friend, Bernardus Diedericks here, maybe you are not in network marketing and would like to know why people get started in Network Marketing, This is the reason why I created 6 videos on the topic. If you are interested to know why people like myself got started in Network Marketing then continue to watch because I am about to shed a little light on why people get started in Network Marketing. Sit back and enjoy the discovery of Network marketing as a career.
A Career in Networking is just the same as any other career with a difference though and the difference is in the amount of income that you would potentially earn.
Your income that you will earn does not just depend on the time and effort that you invest into growing your network but greatly depend on the company that you are becoming a part of as you will find out as you watch the video series.
In the normal career you would be earning a set salary and your life style would be centered around the amount of your salary to where you would live, what house you would own, the car that you would drive, the hours away from your family working for a boss who tells you what and when to do things. Even when you can take leave to be with your family.
When you are self employed your total income depend on your efforts and if something had to happen and you cannot work, your income will come to a halt.
Basically put in a nut shell, you do not own your own life, up until the day that you retire and as things are in the world today as the cost of living increase, I am not really sure who would be able to retire one day that work for a salary or some people that are self employed. Very few people in the world as few as 1% of the world can live off of their investments today.
I guess that this video is for the other 95% of the world.
You may ask: Why the other 95% of the world?
Because 90% of the worlds money travel in the circle of the wealthy which do not include the people working for a living as in employed and self employed but the money circulates in the business builder and investor group of people of the world.
4% Of the world are business builders and 1% are investors. You will find that people who are business builders become investors to invest the income that they have made through their business.
That is how it works, you cannot invest money if you have not made it yet.
The same as you would do research before making a decision on what career you want to pursue, you should take your time to adequately research the network marketing company that you would choose to be a part of.
People tend to not do adequate research and hop from one company to an other. This does not work. Statistics show that for you to make a success in network marketing, it can take up to ten years for you to reach the level of income that you would strive to obtain.
For you to move up in any company it requires you to work your way up the corporate ladder and as you work your way up the corporate ladder your income increase at the same time. Still however, your life do not belong to you as far as your time is concerned that is spend behind a desk or going from meeting to meeting while working long hours.
When looking to get time and financial freedom from the rat race, you need to make the right choice.
There for, you need to make sure that you choose the right company to be a part of and make a decision based on facts and not on things people tell you. For example:
XYZ has the best compensation plan
…. the best products in the world
…. been around for 20 years
…. get in quick, the quicker you get in, the network will grow like wild fire below you because you are one of the first to join.
…. pre launch, now is the time to join etc.
All this above is a load of “hog wash” and not reasons why you should want to join.
None of it is substantial for me to want to even consider to become part of such a company to make it a career for myself.
Network marketing is not a short term thing, it is a long term investment of time, effort, dedication and growing as a person.
It is a career in working with people as a team, to help the next person to become more successful than yourself and building relationships with people. In turn you get rewarded for doing so.
Many people have the wrong idea about network marketing and it is due to people who has created schemes that flop because they are illegal.
Network marketing is not illegal. That is why you will find several network marketing companies trading on the NASDAQ. If they were illegal to begin with, I assure you that they would not be able to trade on the NASDAQ.
What do you have to be on the look out for when you consider network marketing as a career?
1. Do they have a unique proprietary patented technology or product with no competitors?
2. Do they have a support system in place to teach you about effective marketing strategies and ongoing training?
3. Do you have to distribute anything yourself, or do they deliver the product to people’s homes?
4. Do you have to buy stock?
5. Are they an International company with a global market?
6. Is the compensation plan seamless, not just down xyz levels down?
7. As you progress in the company, would you be able to share in the global turn over in the company?
8. Is there a demand for the companies product?
9. Is the product validated in science?
10. Is there quality control in place for there product?
11. Are they adhering to International laws with regard to their products and business?
12. What Industry are they in?
13. Are they part of a growing global trend?
14. Are they part of the ten emerging technologies in the world according to MIT with disruptive technology going to change the world?
I can go on and on but these are a few of the key elements that you should be 100% sure of before you join a network marketing company.
Facts is what count, not hear say or hype.

In this video I am going to focus on whether there is something like a right company to choose to be part of for long term residual income.
I would like to say that it is for me to know and for you to find out but I am going to say that you need to make your decision based on fact to find the right company for you as I have done for myself.
In the previous video, I shared a few points on what you should take into consideration when choosing a network marketing company to be a part of as a career and I strongly recommend that you use them as a guideline when making your choice.
If you do not take these points into consideration, it could be quite costly in the long run in terms of time and effort as well as in money that you invest to grow your business.

Here are a couple of the points to consider before joining a network market company.

You should also be aware of the fact that network marketing has mainly two factors that will influence your level of successful in network marketing.
These two factors that influence you success are the same in what ever company you join.
1. You need an abundance of leads
2. You need an abundance of cash
The lack of these two will result in failure in your business.
This is why you need to get involved with a company that has adequate training in marketing your business so that you will never run out of leads and cash to fund your business. It is not enough to just have a great company and not to be able to market yourself properly.
What you need is a easy to duplicate system that can generate endless leads for you on auto pilot 24/7 as well as generate funding for your business.
Networking is all about becoming more efficient and leveraging yourself by duplicating yourself in the sense that you teach others to use the same marketing techniques multiplying your own efforts.
Thus creating more successful people in your organization that increase your retention rate and ultimately creating a stable residual income from your primary business.
Utilizing a lead generating system and teaching your down line to duplicate a system will make your business increase 10 x, 20x, 100x and your income along the way.
People that start in network marketing generally has a full time job and start out part time.

This sounds very doom and gloom but their is a solution to the network marketers nightmare if you learn and implement the exact success formula that the top producers in network marketing use to explode their business in which they have an abundance of leads and cash flow leveraging the Internet.
A combination of off line and online marketing is what the top producers are doing to attract people to them rather that to search for the one prospect. Top producers generate between 25 to 300 laser targeted leads per day on auto pilot.
Using a lead generating system, you do not focus on people that are not interested or that say no. In fact, you use attraction marketing and a system that does the talking for you and screens and filters the people that are seriously wanting to join you in your business.
This way you never have to cold call or waist your time to go hand out DVDs and hear “No” and talk to people who could care less about your company, you or your compensation plan etc.
A lead generating system saves you all the time of prospecting and all you need to do is the initial set up of the system and there after marketing yourself.

I Bernardus, would like to welcome you back, I assume that you have watched the other two videos of this series of 6 videos regarding network marketing as a career.
In this video I am going to elaborate a little bit about some of the reasons why people get started in network marketing as well as some of the benefits of being part of this great industry.
Network Marketing as a career is something that more and more people are considering because of the following reason.
I have one word for you:
Leverage
What do people in network marketing mean by leverage?
Well, if you think about it for a moment, how much money do you earn per hour doing what you are currently doing?
Lets say you earn $10 per hour and you work 8 hours per day. That would come to $10 x 8= $80 per day x 5 work days per week = $400 per week x 4 weeks per month = $1 600 per month which is not much but it will do for an example.
This is based all on your own effort and if for some reason or the other you cannot work or you get laid off and loose your job, guess what, you do not have any income and are most probably roaming the street.
When you leverage your own efforts you benefit from duplicating what you are doing in the sense that if you were to benefit from a second person doing the same as what you are doing, you literally earn double what you are earning as in this case $1 600 x 2 per month.
Hypothetically speaking. The point that I am trying to make is that you can benefit from other people efforts as opposed to just your own efforts.
The more you duplicate yourself, the more your income increases and this is not a pyramid, it is the power of duplication.
Our cells in our body duplicate itself too and I do not see a whole lot of pyramids walking down the street.
The cells that are joined together form tissue and organs and as a whole the body functions in synergy.
This is exactly what happens in network marketing.
You have a Company which should have the criteria as I have mentioned in the previous videos on the topic of Network marketing career.
The cells in this example represent the people that have joined you in your company.
The life blood keeping the company alive is the turn over created by the people using and making sales of the product or service.
Your amount of residual income is determined by how big the organization is that you grow. It is not true that only the people at the top earn the big income. It is true in the usual way that corporate companies work.
You can become part of the right company today and in a couple months or even with in two to five years earn $50k/m.
In fact, it is the individual that does what it takes to grow a large organization that earn the big income because he or she created the turn over in the company that compensates him or her for their own efforts.
It also depend on how efficient you are in growing your networking team, smarter will grow your business much faster and with less effort and time. What you sow, you shall reap.
Sow your seeds abundantly and you will be richly rewarded.
Sowing your seed by hand is a lot slower than if you utilized a machine that sowed for you 24/7.
Duplicating people that use machines doing the sowing rather than individual sowers sowing seed by hand and benefiting from that is quite substantial when having a look at the results that you will have when reaping the reward.
In network marketing one can reach a stage where your organization grow on its own with people that you never even met in person. Imagine you have 5000 people in your organization with 80 people joining per day creating residual income for you.
I have listened to network marketers that have been in this industry fr 20 odd years that have 20 000 to 30 000 people in their organization.
Now imagine you have a system that does the work for you 24/7 to generate leads on auto pilot and you teach your 5000 people in your organization to do the same. That is the ultimate in duplicating and growing your business.
Further more, leveraging time means that you can only do so much during 8 hours per day but say you have 10 people doing the same as you and you benefit from their efforts.
You would be benefiting from 8 hours x 10 per day = 80 hours per day and we all know that there is only 24 hours in a day.
Here is the kicker, as mentioned above about the system that I spoke about. 5000 people using a system that work 24/7 you benefit from 5000 people x 24 hour 7 days per week. You do the math.
Can you imagine the possibilities and if you used the guidelines that I have mentioned in “How Do You Choose The Right Network Marketing Company” and you choose the right company as well as utilize a system that work for you and have your down line (people in your organization that have joined you and your company) utilize the same system?
It is a recipe for success!
Contemplate this for a moment. There is a company XYZ and he has 100 employees. At the top there is the CEO of the Company and then there are the general managers and managers and staff members right down to the janitor.
That is shaped like a pyramid is it not? Sort of a scheme too because if the CEO of the company goes under, the whole business is shut down and everybody is out of work. Also the fact that companies down size sometimes and people get laid off. Who knows, you might be next?
In network marketing, it does not matter if a few people quite because it is a network of people or rather teams of people that work together and new people replace those that do not continue all the time. Just as your body do not stop making new cells on a daily basis, so your business keep on getting new people to become part of it.
Granted, some network marketing companies also make changes and seize to exist but this is why I said in the beginning to do proper research before joining a network marketing company that is part of a growing trend with unique proprietary patented technology with a ongoing demand for what they provide globally. A company that shows continuous growth.
You get some people that will grow huge organizations and some that will do very little or nothing, you cannot do anything about that, so one of the golden rules are to keep on going Next, Next Next. These days you can also benefit from a system that does this for you on auto pilot 24/7 even when you are sleeping or busy with your current full time job.
Part time has never been easier!
This proses of next is what you need to become efficient and teach your people who are serious about making network marketing a career to become efficient in creating a well oiled machine of residual income.
Your success depend on how you teach your people to become successful and here is the secret.
You might be thinking: “Oh No! Now I have to teach thousands of people how to be successful”
Duplication remember! Teach the people that has joined you personally which might be only 4 people that has had 4 people join them and so on for example.
Further more you plug your people into the system of trainings provide by your company or into the webinar trainings that take place on the Internet.
The world just got a whole lot smaller, you are not limited to do business in your back yard but Globally.
Use Skype to connect with your people. The possibilities are endless.
I know about a man with the nick name “Jet” that has well over 100 000 people in his organization, he is one of the top earners in the company that it so happens, I am a part of.
Create leaders that will teach their team, this is an other form of leveraging making use of creating teams rather than have your whole organization rely on you as the mentor.
Networking is breaking away from relying on your own efforts, it is about leverage and team work that help everyone achieve their dream. It is a business of making people reaching their dreams by working together.
I guess you can say it is a unified success story.

Let me start out with asking a question: “Would you be able to save a million dollars doing what you are doing right now with in a couple months?”
Here is an other question for you. Do you know what being a cash millionaire and a millionaire?
A millionaire is somebody that has a million in his bank account. A cash millionaire is somebody that earn a million on a regular basis that could be monthly. So when he buys for a million dollar, he or she will be able to replace that million dollar through his or her earnings the following month.
The vast majority of people out there would not be able to do that, they are so deep in dept….. some people would like to say: “cr…. sh….” that they will be in debt for their entire lifetime if they do not start to do something about it.
If you were to start a franchise, a new business you have to lay out a lot of capital to start that and it could run into thousand of dollar if not millions.
In network marketing you benefit from a low start up cost with an already patented product with all the support systems in place and all you have to do is market.
Everything is in place for you to generate an residual income. Baring in mind that you do research and become part of the right company as I am placing emphasis on following the guidelines that I have mentioned in the previous videos on network marketing career.
The income is generated from you creating turn over in the company. People refer people all the time and do not get paid for doing it. Have you ever told a friend about a great movie showing at the cinema or told a friend about a great CD?
Well? Did you get paid for doing that?
No!
Being part of a significant company in an Industry that is growing with an International market that has proprietary, unique, patented technology with no competitors places you in a very good position to put it mildly.
All one has to do if you are part of such a company is to market adequately and things just happen. What are the things you may ask?
Your business grow and your income along the way.
Now their are ways and then their are ways to market. Using attraction marketing does not imply that you market your primary company up front but rather that you position yourself as a person of value providing solutions to people that have a problem which attract them to you.
The great news is that if you can do this on auto pilot and duplicate that by showing your team to duplicate what you are doing.
The result will be absolutely spectacular.
Getting back to the income part and saving a million dollars.
In network marketing we work back to front. Our initial start up cost is low but as we create turn over in the company we earn residual income which you could compare with interest that you would have received had you invested capital in the bank. So what we are actually creating here is International equity in the turn over in the company.
The other great part is that your vacations are business expenses so your vacations are tax deductible.
What interest would you be earning from a million dollars in the bank?
Lets work on 5 % interest rate per year. It comes to $4 166 per month. How long would it take you to achieve saving a million dollars in the bank that would pay you $4 166 per month?
On the other hand, how long would it take you to create turn over of $4 166 per month in a significant company with the facts that I have mentioned earlier with regard to proprietary patented technology that there is a huge demand for as well as providing solutions to the problems that all mlm business owners have with regard to lead generation and funding for their business?
So if you earn $4 166 per month from a network marketing company, it is the same as having saved a million dollars in the bank.
Which is more achievable:
Saving a million dollars?
or
Creating turn over in a company paying you $4 166 per month part time?
Part time is a great thing because it means that you are making profit of $4 166 per month, it is extra income over and above your salary.
That is why people are considering network marketing more and more because they cannot sustain themselves with their salary alone plus there is a low start up cost.
This is the reason why there are more and more network marketing companies emerging all the time.
Just as you get different cars or lets say vehicles, you get different network marketing companies that are if we make comparison between a luxury car and a scruffy old chicken coop of a car. You need to become part of the luxury vehicle if you want to reach your dreams.
A Network marketing company is a vehicle for you to become financially free.
So choose the right one first time round.
To quickly recap, the pay check from a network marketing company represent creating international equity through creating turn over in the company and to do this you have a very low start up cost.

If this reason is not big enough, then you are sure to not get started or you might not have what it takes to go the distance until you make it in network marketing.
What is this important make or break factor?
It is the Dream.
The dream is actually where you start. You must have a strong enough desire or reason to put in the effort and commitment to make things happen until you succeed.
Lets assume that you are part of a great company, what is: “The Dream”?
The dream will differ from person to person, you might not be happy in the job that you are in or you want to have more freedom to have the time to do the things that you want or spend more time with your family.
You might have a lot of debt and want to be able to pay it off. You might want to lead a life style of traveling the world, owning property in exotic locations, who knows, maybe owning your own tropical island.
Maybe you like sports cars and would like to own a couple mean machines.
Just think if money and time was no longer and issue for you, what would your life look like? What would you be doing right now?
Where would you be? On a cruise ship, on a tropical island, traveling the world, driving a luxurious car, have your own jet to fly where ever you want.
Go have breakfast is France and be back in the evening for supper.
People loose the ability to dream because they are all thinking logically according to their current life style and salary and cannot think bigger than their current bank account.
Anything is possible. There are no limitations to what your potential is other than the limitations that you place upon yourself and once you start to realize that, it will be like a light bulb that has turned on.
If other people has done it and are doing it, why not you?
There are billions of people on the planet and 2 billion are on the Internet daily doing something, looking and searching but most are not making money on the Internet. Only a minority are doing that.
So what you need to do is find out what this minority are doing to make 6 figure incomes from marketing on the Internet and duplicate their system.
You can make your dreams come true if you have a strong enough reason and desire to make it a reality.
To top it off, you can make use of a system that does it for you on auto pilot.

In network marketing there is nobody standing over your shoulder to tell you what to do. There is however your sponsor and up line that will guide you and teach you what they have done to become successful but in the end they are your couch and not your boss.
In network marketing you are your own business owner.
The responsibility that you have as CEO of your own business is that your success depend on what you do to make it a success.
Would you hire yourself to run a multi million dollar company.
If the answer is no, then you should not get into network marketing or you need to make a few change to qualify yourself to be a CEO of your own multi million dollar company.
Many people do not make a success and then blame the company. Some say that they were in company XYZ and it did not work for me.
Did you listen to that carefully? “ It did not work for me.”

That is the whole idea behind it and why there are network marketing companies because the best way to advertise is through word of mouth, referral advertising and it is the money that the company would have invested in advertising cost that they give back to the people who refer the most people to obtain their product or services.
You do not have to refer a whole lot of people personally, maybe maximum 4 or 5 and teach them to each refer 4 or 5 people. That is duplication and what makes the business work.

What ever you do my friend, if you have decided to make changes to your life for the better and are doing it by faith as the Word says with out any doubt in your heart, do not let other people steal your vision and dream from you.
If other people set out to achieve their dream and has done so, there is no reason why you cannot achieve your dream.
Just because somebody else cannot see what you see does not matter, you should not let their limited vision limit you and distract you from achieving your dream.
Contemplate this for a moment, if you were living 700 years ago and you had the vision to create an airplane and you were working on a way to build one. Most people would say that you are mad, people cannot fly. Yet, people dreamed it and had the desire to make it happen.
The rest is history. What was the key, the dream started in the mind, then there was the burning desire to make it a reality. It did not stop there though.
It took intense studying with regard to aviation and with regard to creating the perfect structure to create lift and how to develop the controls for such an aircraft as well as what materials to use that would be best suited for the aircraft enabling it to fly.
I am not going to go into too much detail here about aviation but it took a lot of trial and error to get the first plane off the ground.
Once the first plane got off the ground, continuous experimentation and enhanced features were made over time to have the great airplanes that we have today. Obviously as technology evolved over the years, so did the capabilities of manufacturing airplanes breaking the sound barrier.
Why am I sharing this with you?
It is because it is things in our history that people thought to be impossible to achieve, yet some people believed that it could be done and did not care about what other people thought possible or impossible.

Further more, one step is not going to do it, you are going to need to walk everyday to get to the desired destination. Have a clear plan of action to take.
You will find that as you go along your path to success, that you might start out on foot but as time go by and you increase your knowledge that there are other ways to enhance reaching your destination that will speed up your success in reaching your dream.
You might discover that I do not need to walk, I can use a bicycle, car, bus, train or airplane. This is true in network marketing as well. There are ways in network marketing to grow your business faster than what you may be aware of and strategies that you can implement that work better than others.
