This information is for anybody that is thinking about getting started in joining a MLM Company, Network Marketing Company or making use of any kind of marketing system to generate leads.

To a certain degree it is true but to a certain degree there is more to it then just to become a member and then money just come flowing in from everywhere.
You need a person to guide you along the way until you can find your feet to walk the walk and talk the talk. In other words, you need somebody to help you reach a certain level of success and ultimately reach the level of success that you are striving to achieve.
One can make your dreams a reality being part of a network marketing company and one can use a system to automatically manage your business partially.
Manage Your Business Through Partial Automation Is Possible
What do I mean by partially?
Well, you can have capture pages, an auto responder to follow up with your leads and team members with messages that guide them along the way to join your business or with special tools that they can use to enhance their success and with messages that guide them in marketing strategy training etc.
But nothing really beat one on one support via email, Skype, your own webinars, plugging your people into your company training and events.
Using the method that I mentioned above is great to help a large group of your people in general with knowledge, training and guidance in steps to follow but you need to connect with your team members one on one to help them in their success.
This is the lacking part that the majority of people might come across when they join a MLM company or a system to build their business. The system is just a tool to help you enhance building your MLM down line.
But if you do not help your team along and duplicate your success, a large number of them will quit. There for you need to help your team to get results as soon as possible.

The Importance Of Personal Branding And Personal Development
That is where personal branding come into play. People see your level of expertise and join you if they can see and believe that you are a person that can truly provide them with guidance to succeed in reaching the level of success that they are aspiring to achieve.
If you are a member of some kind of lead generating system or group and you are not a person that can lead others to success, then this is the reason why you are still struggling.
It is not the system or MLM company that is the golden goose. You are the person that need to become that leader that people want to follow.
The only way to do this is to continuously work on your personal development, not only in mindset but in the skills necessary to market online if you are going to use online marketing as your method of growing your home base business as well as your leadership skills in helping your team to get results as soon as possible.
I recommend that you also learn skills in off line marketing. Fact is that not everybody is capable or have the desire to build their business using the Internet.
That being said, incorporating the Internet and offline marketing strategies to build your home base business is not that difficult as you will find out going through the information on this page. Off line can refer to using a sign or poster, lower down on the page I will share a highly effective method of doing this.
Traditional marketing methods still work today and are what you need for short term success as well as long term success to make money quickly but incorporating the two forms of marketing greatly enhance your success especially with regard to a long term vision of building a secure residual income.
Incorporating Online & Offline Marketing Strategies
How do you incorporate the online and offline marketing strategies to build your business?
Well, start with using offline marketing strategies while learning online marketing strategies. Use time management to be able to do both. Remember that you are most likely to make your money quickest with your offline marketing, prospecting etc.
It really depend on where you are at in your life and circumstances right now. Do you need to make money right now or is your aspiration more focused on long term success?
Are you looking at building your business in mind of going to talk to 30 people per day in person?
At the moment people that are using the Internet as a tool reach thousands of people at once. Do you see the power in doing so as apposed to speaking to a mere 30 people per day. Secondly, the content that you create on the Internet continue to work and prospect for you all the time and generate high quality leads in the form of people that actually want o hear what you have to say to them.
The Internet is the only place where you can build a list of thousands of people and reach them with a push of a button.
You cannot achieve the same amount of leverage just relying on offline marketing.
Yes if you build a big organisation with people doing the daily activity with offline marketing strategies, you can have some phenomenal results too but think about if some of your team members incorporated Internet marketing as part of their strategy of building their business and the power of duplicating that.
To give you an example of how my team and I use Internet marketing with regard to social media. You lead with value. Let say I connect with a friend on Facebook. I would say something like:
“High Pete, it is fantastic to connect with you on Facebook. I noticed that you are in an mlm company. How is it going for you? Have you heard about Toby and Layla yet? Toby and Layla had a great webinar recently about how they became famous on Facebook, sponsored a number of people into their primary company and made a bundle in commissions with in 60 days. They are giving people access to this webinar for free. Have a look at what they did, maybe it is something that you can duplicate into your business. It does not hurt just to see what they did, right? “See If You Can Do What Toby And Layla Are Doing” If you have any questions just ask and I will get back to you.
Can you do what I just did? Off course you can and even with out the personal blog.
One Of The Ways That I Do Online Marketing
I create a blog post and drive people to my blog, this is where they get to know more about me and build that relationship with them on auto pilot.

Can you do something like that? Can you speak to somebody offline in the supermarket or anywhere else for that matter and ask them if they are on Facebook and if they would like to know how to make money from being on facebook? Can you give them a piece of paper, business card or drop card, make a poster or sign with your details on and the link for them to have a look at what Toby and Layla are doing?

Connect with a prospect personally or through a marketing strategy and then give them value that they can use to enhance their success.
That is one way of incorporating internet marketing and offline marketing. There are lots of ways to do it. This is with out having a blog or learning article marketing, SEO or even social media marketing, this is using traditional prospecting and incorporating the Internet.

If Offline Marketing Is Your Focus Point To Build Your Business
If the route that you want to take is just offline, then that is Fantastic! I just would recommend that you get the Knowledge and skills to do it effectively. You do not need the Internet to be successful in building a hugely successful home base business there are just a bunch of benefits from incorporating Internet marketing and your off line way of doing business as I am sure that you have come to realize by now.
Spend an hour or two per day consistently doing the activities required for offline lead generation and you are sure to get results. I would recommend that you duplicate what successful 7 Figure earners say to people regardless if you are using online or offline methods to build your business.
What You Are Still Going To Need To Do
Using the Internet is just a way to generate leads and to build a relationship with larger numbers of people at once. You are still going to need to connect with people one on one and talk to them. You cannot get away from the fact that Network Marketing is a relationship business.
Fact is that many people do not understand how you can build a relationship using the Internet, yet it is possible. Just think of all the dating sites on the Internet.
Building a relationship with regard to building your home base business is a little different though then building a relationship with regard to a dating site. One do this using a blog or via social media sites and provide value to people that will help them in their business etc.

Only the most pressing issues were brought to the attention of the man in charge. This is the same in any country as well. The proof is in the pudding! Either eat it or spit it out. Either implement it and get the results or leave it keep doing what you are doing with little or no results. It really does not impact on me. All I can say is here is information that I know can and will help you. What you do next is your business not mine.

This Requires A Bit More Time But Will Reward You Greatly
Fact is that learning how to successfully build your business using the Internet require a bit more time to learn as opposed to learning off line marketing strategies. How long will it take you to learn that you make a list of people that you know and to get in touch with them on the telephone? How long will it take you to learn how to create your own website and to drive traffic to it?
Off line marketing strategies are like carrying buckets of water from one place to the other but is a very effective way of marketing.
Example Of What It Is Like To Use The Internet To Build Your Business
Internet marketing is like building a pipeline that take some time to develop and put into place but once you have done so, will create a continuous flow of quality leads and people to join you in your business as well as benefit from funding for you business depending of which lead generating system that you become part of.
You can implement attraction marketing using off line marketing methods too.
However, developing your skill and using tools for online marketing strategies in the form of a lead generating system which is duplicable, in my opinion out weigh off line marketing strategies for long term success because you can reach more people on a daily basis and build a relationship with a large number of people through leverage of the Internet.
That is why it is important to allocate the time for developing your skill in online marketing with regard to lead generation and everything that it entails to automate and simplify some of the methods in building your business as the professionals do by leverage of the Internet.

Very Important Leadership Skill To Develop
You also need to develop the leadership skill of helping your team.
You should know that getting started in any business take some time to get the results that you want. Yes, some people get great results with in a very short period of time and I am sure that you would like to do the same. It is possible to get results fast.
Results referring to generating a constant flow of high quality leads using a system or certain marketing strategies and to recruit people consistently into your primary company.
Reality is though, that this does not happen for everybody or in the volume that people would like to have in a very short period of time. We are all different, unique people with different talents that we are good at.

The point that you might have overlooked is that during this period of acquiring the experience, you need to leverage on a system with adequate training, people with experience and learn from them to get your own experience level up to a level where you can stand tall and be confident in building your business with out little training wheels and guidance from your team leader.
Reality is that leaders are the people that earn the big income, not followers. The people in our industry are looking for a leader to help them. You need to become that leader.
Once you reach this level, you are unstoppable.
Recommendation When Getting Started
If you are getting started or want to get started in online marketing, make sure that you join somebody that can take you by the hand and give you some guidance. This is critical and will speed up reaching your success.
Be clear to yourself what success mean to you. You get different levels of success:
1. To set up your system successfully if you are going to use a system.
2. Deciding what strategy you are going to use for your marketing and learning all you can about that strategy.
3. Learning how to implement that particular strategy successfully and getting results.
4. Enjoying what you do and getting the results that your were seeking.
5. Consistently doing those activities that produce results.
This will have a compounded effect over time and your business will keep growing from strength to strength.
Once you are proficient in a particular strategy, start learning about a new strategy and implement it.
Implementing Some Strategies Take Longer To Have The Results That You Are Seeking But Have Phenomenal Rewards
Some strategies take longer to produce results. Article marketing is one of them that can take a couple months for you to see any real results. Article marketing does require that you submit your article to large numbers of directories to have maximum benefit from.
SEO in my opinion is one of the fastest ways to get traffic to your website. My website ranked 2,487,758 two months ago and today 12 April 2011, it ranked 288,585 on Alexa.com. This is due to training in the MLSP back office.

This is one of the reasons why I have a constant flow of traffic to my website and free leads and sign ups into MLSP and my primary company.
When I Got Started
When I got started I had to keep focused. It was so easy to get distracted and to get overwhelmed by it all. I had people from everywhere send information to me about various different courses.
It was all a bit confusing at times. At the time I subscribed to a couple of people for information so my inbox had emails coming in daily with invitations to webinars or an email with couching or a product to purchase etc.
I must say that I attended a lot of webinars and this provided me with loads of information to excel at online marketing. But if you are not focused, this could be quite overwhelming and for many this is a huge problem to overcome. The information overload issue.
Maybe you can relate to that.
That is why it is critical to see what I can recommend to you in the next part of this page to help you not to suffer an information overload and to get to the level of success that you wish to achieve.
How Do You Get Through The Getting Started Phase?
Write down on paper what you want to achieve from your online marketing or in your business and if the information that come in your inbox does not correspond with what you want to achieve, ignore it or unsubscribe form that list.
Only focus on training that align with the strategy that you chose to get started with and implement what you learn consistently.
Allocate a specific time per day that you are going to do the actual activities to build your business.
Keep focusing on the activities that you need to do on a daily basis. Don’t jump from one thing to the another. Keep doing one strategy and follow through with it. Make changes if necessary to enhance your success. Failure is a good thing only if you learn from your mistakes. Failure to make the changes that lead to success is failure.
My Story
I got started with MLSP in Jan 2010 and my focus at the time as it is now, was to generate leads and to help people in the home base business industry.
I was a complete newbie with out any knowledge in online marketing, with regard to blogging, article marketing, creating a website, SEO, social media marketing etc. But I decided to go all out to learn the skills in the various marketing strategies.
I can honestly say that I did not spend 1 to 2 hours to learn all these skills per day but a lot more than that. This may vary for most people according to their time availability and current job that they may be in as well as their hunger to succeed in building a secure residual income.
Or the main “Reason” that they are getting started in the home base business industry.
It is always better to rather be consistent then not to be consistent. So it is better to spend an hour to two hours per day doing the daily activities that lead to success then to spend ten hours on one or two days per week.
Consistency is key, build momentum and will lead to the results that you want.
I put a lot of time into learning the skills in online marketing because my vision and plan is for long term success and simplifying my business enabling me to free up more time with out doing a lot of off line marketing strategies.
That being said, an example of off line marketing is to put up a poster or sign somewhere where there is a lot of traffic that says something like:
“If you think that it is not possible to earn R250 000 per month while you sleep, don’t give me a call”
This will attract the attention of people. You can use ‘n answering service to take messages for you and get in touch with the serious people or you can have the link to your website or capture page on the poster / website and generate leads that are filtered with your auto responder.
Would you be able to do that?
Most people might not have the time availability to learn all of the online marketing strategies at once but that is where you leverage from your introducer to guide you so that you do not have to spend as much time as I did to learn all these skills at once.
Ultimately that is what you evolve too but this is not duplicable for your team.
A colleague of mine said that it is not what works that matter, it is what duplicate that matter.
All this can be simplified and I will show you exactly how in a moment or two. Anybody can do it. You just need to decide and realize the phenomenal power from utilizing the Internet to build your business.
Leverage of the Internet greatly outweigh running around like a mad hatter trying to speak to 30 people per day. To give you an example:
If you speak to 30 people per day that equals roughly 900 people per month.
Utilizing the Internet, I get up to 2 800 unique visitors to my website per month and the number is growing all the time.
One of the most important parts of growing your business is to place your business in front of new people on a daily basis and not just in front of any body but quality people that actually want to hear more from you. People that are interested in what you have to say to them that are maybe searching for an answer to a problem that they may be having in building their business and you are that person that provide a solution to their problem.
I use the same amount of effort but reach more people by the day. Plus, the method of Internet marketing to build the business is duplicable.
Can you see the bigger picture yet? The same amount of effort = reach more people = recruit more reps = more duplication = greater retention = secure residual income.
Is it worth spending the time and effort to learn how to do this?
YES!
I started to watch the Member orientation video which showed me what tabs there were in the MLSP back office.
[Please read on, there is some very good information that you can have great benefit from if you continue to read. I just felt compelled to share with you how I got started and how I got to the level of success that I am at.]
How You Should Build Your Business
The Member orientation video and way in setting up the system has changed to be more user friendly then when I got started. There used to be ten steps in the set up process and now there are only 6 tutorial videos and the option of having the system set up on your behalf. I used the 10 step set up process when I got started.
Anyway, enough about that. Point is, I had made a decision to generate leads on auto pilot if possible because it still seemed a bit too good to be true at the time.
I went through all the tabs to see what was in the back office of MLSP and really familiarized myself with what was back there, the marketing training etc.
I kept in contact with my referrer who pointed me in the right direction so that I could find my feet.
To Create Success, You Need To Do This
You do not have to baby sit a person but you do need to guide your new Team member and show them where to go to get started step by step.
Personally, once a person joined my team, I send them a personal email in which I give them 3 easy steps to get started so that they do not just hang in the air by not knowing where to start.
This further build a relationship with your new team member. Your team member is not just a team member. This person reached out to you because they need help and you are the person that they chose to get help from.
So, help them. Don’t look at them as wow, now I am going to benefit financially from him or her because he or she joined my system or company.
Keep in mind that just as easily as he joined your system or company, just as easily his or her subscription, autoship can be cancelled.
Your Aim Should Be To….
Your aim is not personal gain but the gain of your new friend. If you sincerely help them to make progress and to enhance their success then you will have a friend for life and a business colleague that will work with you as a team and not just as a team but you will build a team of leaders.
You need to teach this to your friends that are part of your team.
Generating leads is easy to do once you acquire the skills in marketing and using the system that you are part of. Acquiring these skills can take some time depending on the individual with regard to their learning ability and time availability.
The Challenge
The challenge is in duplicating YOU in your team and to be able to lead your team, this require true leadership and one on one training with your closest team member.
I am sure that you are well aware of the power of duplication.
Lets say you have a team of 5 or 6 people that you work with. You teach them step by step one on one so that they can duplicate that exact way of teaching their group of 5 or 6 people and you duplicate that right down to as far as your business grow.
Is this duplicable?
You bet your bottom dollar it is.
This is a recipe for success.
For the record, I do get people to join MLSP with out prior contact with them by telephone, email, or Skype from the marketing efforts and the system that I use.
SMS Notifications That Brighten Your Day
I receive an sms notification that alert me every time that I have a MLSP sign up.
Example of an sms notification from a MLSP sign up:
[MLSP New Team Member] Name: “Name Surname” Phone: 123456789 Congratulations! Call and Welcome them Now!
Would you not like that to happen for you? I think so.
People join from the MLSP links at my website, auto responder messages from the people that opted in for more information and then I get in touch with them directly on skype or by email.
Generally I get in touch with them by email first. The point here is that I do not leave my new colleague up to the mercy of trying to figure out how to get started or what steps to take and I make myself available to help them in what ever way I can that is duplicable by my team members.
Whatever you do must be duplicable.
Recently I had a friend join MLSP. I got in touch with him, showed him around in the MLSP back office etc.
He never got his system set up with in the first 10 days or so. I kept in touch with him during this period, offering my assistance.
I noticed that he never took any action from my back office with regard to setting up the system, so I recommended that he parked his subscription or cancel it if he is not going to make use of the system for whatever reason, so that he may get his refund due to cancellation with in the no risk 30 day trial period.
He cancelled due to starting another business which was going to need all his attention and might still join MLSP at a later stage when he can focus on learning the skills of attraction marketing to build his business while being part of my team.
Anyway, this is not just about making money, it is about helping people in getting to where they want to be in life.
I helped him with the easy process of cancelling his MLSP subscription and we are still good friends.
Don’t Get Hung Up To Dry
In the end my friend, the message that I am trying to get across here is that you need to join the right person in any opportunity that will be able to help you. Not just get you to join and then leave you out on a limb to figure everything out yourself.
That is not a leader and somebody that I would like to build a business with because in fact, such a person is not building with you.
If you have joined somebody that is not a leader with the skills or capability to lead you then find out who is in your up line that can help you.
If you are a person with a genuine passion to help your team member but you lack the skill, introduce your team member to your up line and let him provide guidance to your team member.
I recommend being involved in how your up line guide your team member so that you can acquire those skills to evolve to a leader like your up line.
